In August 2018 Egle, one of the founders of CompAct, participated in the Climate-KIC: The Journey, the World’s largest green innovation summer school Over the course of three weeks, she received advice and experience on how to save on resources and the environment with new solutions. In September of the same year Kaisa, another founder, won the Loomehäkk, the largest creative hackathon in the Baltics, with a very similar idea. At that moment, their paths quite logically crossed. They both had come up with a similar solution in different situations.
